South Korean wireless telecommunication company SK Telecom launches the worlds first LTE-A network capable of data transfer rates up to 150Mbps download speed and 37.5Mbps upload speed which is roughly twice as fast as the 4G LTE speeds available in the United States, and 10 times faster than 3G.

The company said it expects network evolution support higher speeds up to 500Mbps by 2015.
