Microsoft is seeking to enter in the tablet market, by refreshing their chip set. The company is planning to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor by replacing their existing Nvidia’s Tegra 3. There are reports that the tech giant is testing Windows RT 8.1 Surface devices with Snapdragon 800 processors.
The new version of Microsoft surface RT will come with the new Snapdragon 800 processor which includes integrated LTE connectivity that can deliver fast wireless data connections. Nvidia also continues to be a chip supplier for some versions.
