An average cellphone can take atleast 6 to 7 hours to get full charge. But now, a breakthrough by an 18-year-old science student, named Eesha khare have designed new capacitor i.e super-capacitor might enable mobile phones and other batteries to be charged within 20 seconds. It can last for 10,000 recharge cycles compared to 1,000 cycles in conventional rechargeable batteries.

Her interest in nano-chemistry  led to this brilliant discovery. Her invention won her the Intel foundation young scientist award of  $50,000 prize money at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
